Android Central App Problem?

Has anyone else had a problem with the Android Central App opening lately? I tried it on 2 different phones on WiFi and LTE, when opening the app it just keeps trying to update the home page and when going into the forums just a spinning circle for a long time. This started last night.

Mine stays logged in but yeah it's super slow refreshing and loading the forums.


I keep the old version of the app (1.6) handy just in case things get broken.

Yeah, it takes a while to refresh the homescreen. I thought it was just me.

Yep same here. Much slower last few days. I tried deleting it and reinstalling but made no difference

Same problem, the app is kind of unusable now. Hope the AC team will discover the cause of this issue soon!

Unusable? Is it that bad? For me, it takes 10 seconds to refresh the home screen as opposed to 2 seconds. Other than the everything's fine.

Oh yeah, for me it takes minutes to load now (on a good connection) :/

Yeah it's getting worse by the day, I hate to advocate this but if you are so inclined there are safe apk mirrors that have old versions of this app like 1.6 and it works fine and refreshes quickly. It's an odd issue, but I hope it gets fixed soon

I'm kind of having the same issue. Very slow regardless of device used. Also keeps logging me out.

It seems like it's fixed for me as well.

Edit: The app still doesn't remember that I'm logged in. The slow refresh seems fixed though.
