shot on Nexus 5 with hdr, edited in Google photos. A trip in beautiful Dalmatia, Croatia, just saw the old Renault in the background in the narrow street full of flowers.

Coneflowers / Echinacea
Taken with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Edited on mobile via Snapseed.

At the 2 mile point during an evening run, I stopped at a small flower garden placed alongside the trail. These Coneflowers were busy with bees... but this particular one, with its curled petals, was just begging to have its picture taken. I used the Samsung camera in HDR mode. Then added "brought out" some of the pop and detail using Google's wonderful Snapseed app. Its amazing how much detail is buried in these images - just waiting to be brought out with a little editing. (Just wish Samsung would allow us access to the RAW files.) Sometimes a slight enhancement makes up for the "software engineer's view" of how the image should be displayed... but other times I want to go beyond just documenting a scene, I want to create a visually appealing piece of art - make the image "feel" as I remember seeing the scene in my head... and push the image a bit further as I did here.

Shot on my Nexus 6 in RAW using Camera FV-5. Curious how the RAW files are captured, I edited it on my PC using Capture One Pro 8. This is a photo of a lily after a light rain. Lighting could have looked better, but it was still overcast. Lots of detail captured though!
Actually, overcast is usually some of the best lighting... its like a giant, natural softbox without having to carry around the the big light-stands! Nice work... wish my phone would save the RAW files.

Thanks. I prefer more contrast in my photos, but I understand what you mean. Not that I think the lily needs more contrast because there's a lot of detail there already. Not a pro, just a hobbyist, but got more work at graesen.com if you're curious. Most with my DSLR, but mobile shots here and there.

My niece gets a tiny little spot in her grandma's garden. She asked me to take a picture. Galaxy Note 4. Cropped with Google Pictures.

No great story. No great editing. I managed to get my old S5 to take a picture with selective focus. Sweet. Also, the girlfriend painted her front door orange and was all aflutter that her flower matched.

Picture was taken with my Nexus 5 by one of the many flower beds in 'De Efteling'. It originally was a nice picture because the color of the flowers matched the color of my daughters clothes. But Google made it an even more awesome picture by applying it's auto-awesome magic to it.

Snapped this with my LGG4.
Didn't see the hidden bird in the bush until after, when I was editing the photo.

A potted garden of Agave and flowers.I like to see dying leaves giving way for new healthier shoots.

Galaxy S3 edits in adobe photoshop express.

Garden.jpg

Taken with my Nexus 4 with the google camera app. Patio gardens in small spaces can still produce delicious food.

Snapped this picture while walking through the Japanese Tea Garden in San Fran. Taken on my recently retired Nexus 5 using the stock Google Camera (HDR enabled), post in AfterFocus Pro and then SnapSeed.
