Marketing, specs, innovations and it's just plain cool looking. Not to mention all the trouble verzion and motorola are going through to help push it out there, with the twitter scavenger hunt.

Been desperately trying to find a way to get the girl an android phone. I absolutely adore my droid, and while I may steal the x and play around with it, I want to pass the little green guy onto the person who makes my life wonderful. Her family can't afford to get a phone right now, but I'd be able to talk them into a data plan if I give them something worth using.

I think that the Droid X will be the best phone of the year, because it takes cues from the original Droid, and makes it better. Screen too small? Droid X made it bigger. Processor lacking? Droid X does 1 Ghz. GPU suffer? Droid X provides. 5MP 3MP too low? Droid X does 8. It can't get much better than this. Well, give it a year.

That phone will seriously hammer at the gates of the high-walled Apple Garden. It will yell over the walls at the poor saps inside, currently wondering what their liege will take or keep from them, and invite them to the wonderful, sunny fields outside of their cramped city.
With the raw power and that glorious screen it would quickly replace my Eris as my phone.
Google and Android... the cavalry that will expose the masses to what portable technological freedom really means.

I think the Motorola Droid X is the hottest phone of the year because.......so far it is! It has one of the best processors, screens, form factors, cameras, can do almost anything you need it to do. I only wish Verizon had marketed it just a bit better. More commercials! I guess I just need to see this thing everyday before it's released.

What's not to like about the droid x? It has a huge screen with great specs and its on verizon. If I won this, I'd give my wife my droid and we won't have to buy a new phone or commit to another two year contract. That and her centro's touchscreen stopped working so she can't use half of the features.

First of all, it has a freaking X in the name and that ALWAYS brings instant "AWESOME" status... Plus, it woos me in with its crisp graphics displayed on that large canvas of a screen while the impressive monster innards and their raw processing power seal the deal... It's the best and the brightest of the Android family... I must get my hands on it.

This phone is so badass! I can watch widescreen videos, surf the web on Verizon's 3G speeds, and look badass while doing it! Did I mention this phone looks badass?

Its got a massive screen, lighting fast processor, pretty much everything I would put on my dream phone. And its here now.

Plus, you can hold it any way you want to.

The original Droid was great at that time from Motorola but it weighs a ton and is slow! (Short of rooting). I NEED THE NEW X!!!! PLEASE ANDROID GODS!

The Droid X has the most badass name of any smartphone on the market today. After it's Froyo upgrade it will be hands down faster than any other smartphone on the market. It's screen and overall build is gorgeous. It's multimedia capabilities are amazing. All in all it sets a new standard in smartphones.
