In a market filled...and I mean FILLED, with android phones, what makes the DX the hottest phone on the planet is that it lives up to its hype. I've had the pleasure of playing with one. A friend of mine is one of the lucky ones that got it early. The screen is beautiful, the HDMI out is amazing, the battery life is good for its size and motorola left the UI pretty much alone. I want one sooooooooooooooooo bad!

I really want a phone with a 4.3" screen. Pair that with the look of the original but thinner, no physical keyboard, a great camera and Verizon's network and you have the perfect phone!

I got to play with one over the weekend. I love the screen, the fast processor, the screen, the 7 home screens and it is on a great network. Also I held it in numerous positions and did not see it drop bars!

Why I should get the Motorola X

Simply put: the phone looks like you need pretty well sized hands and I have some that the phone will fit into without a hitch. The phone needs to be tested on what it can do, real world and not just on specs that come on a sheet a papaer, and thats wahat I will do. And frankly I would love it and even be willing to promote the phone whole heartedly after winnig it

How can a phone that improves upon the Droid not be the hottest phone of the year given that the Droid is the awesome! Love my Droid and so would love to get the X.

Free Droid X

Motorola Droids are ruling the Android market!! I've had Sprint before & neither their Evo or their 4G network will ever get me to go back to that crappy service. Also before the Androids came to life, the IPhone did have its appeal but the obvious lack of service at At&t made me dislike that option. Now they are rumoring IPhone for Verizon in January '11...well it doesn't matter to me!! Once an Android...always an Android! I can't wait for the X, it makes my Moto Droid just look inferior!! LOL!!

This phone is great already. Big screen fast processor, HD video recording, HDMI output, 7 homescreens, the widgets are even improved. I can keep going it seems. My Moto Droid is still great so i know this is gonna be a big step up and kick some major phone competition butt.

I am making a living off my phone because my laptop broke. The nice 4.4 inch screen would make it much easier. The 1 gig processor will make sure it does the job in a timely manner. Doing some task from the phone is not to bad. This phone would be able to take place of my laptop. That would be great. The fact this phone could help keep my family together makes it the best one i have ever seen.

With it's solid hardware platform and Verizon's juggernaut marketing campaign behind the Droid franchise, the DX will be a success. But, will the nearly concurrent launch of the D2 steal the DX's thunder? I'm betting the "bigger is better" mentality will rule the day for the DX.
