The Droid X is the hottest phone of the year because it's the most reliable phone on America's most reliable network. Not only is the build quality stellar on the device, but it didn't have to sacrifice high-end features to make it reliable. You get performance that is yet unmatched in addition to amazing battery life and longevity. With nothing wrong to "cool" it down, it can't be anything but the hottest phone of the year.

It will have the phenomenal build quality that we have come to expect from Motorola, and it looks so good. I wish I were a phone because I would TAP THAT. But instead I need to use my human fingers..

It will be by far the best phone on the market on July 15th. Just look at the hardware and software. You cannot compete with that right now. Enough said!
I would love the Moto Droid X because it's got a massive 4.3" screen, uber fast processor and a lovely 8MP camera... and and let's not forget the 720p Hd video!!! I mean, come on who would'nt want this beast.
I love my Incredible, but now I wish I'd waited just a little longer. That 4.3" screen and HDMI out do it for me.
Moto hardware is best out there ... thats why the original Droid is still selling really well. Plus the coverage on the Verizon, enough said.
This phone is backed by Motorola and that is much better than HTC. Every HTC phone i got has proven not nearly as durable as other competitors such as samsung, nokia or motorola. And this phone might turn me into a sexy cylon

The Droid X is the latest biggest and best Android smartphone of the year because:
- 1ghz processor means no hiccups
- 4.3-inch touchscreen shines!!!!!!!!!!
- "Motorola's on-screen customizations don't overpower the experience" -- upgrades to the vanilla android os, i love the new tweaks they put on expanding the size of widgets and widgets switching places instead of you having to delete a widget to create space
- 8MP camera, hdmi, 720p video recording
- Verizon's network is still arguably the best
- 2ghz phones come out early 2011
I have been researching this phone ever since it first came up at a gym under the codename "shadow." After months of reviewing I have come to the conclusion that I want this phone over all the other phones because of the following comparisons:
- the Droid Incredible remains on backorder while it gets a screen refresh (which you cant see under sunlight), the battery life is horrible
- the Sprint Evo 4G has FPS caps and the 4G network is limited and feels thicker (fatter) than the x
- the Droid 2 is just a Droid with upgraded specs, the X is a new perspective on it
- the Samsung Galaxy S is crippled by the touchwiz UI and is a clone of the iphone
- the iphone 4 has antenna issues everywhere, especially in new york -- android > apple ios

gotta have it!!! h.d.m.i., 720p!!! 1ghz processor onboard memory, 16gb sdcard expandable to 32!!!!!!!! what can you not like about this phone? a big beautiful screen hd recording? i need it i want to be the envy of everyone around me that doesn't have one, I want people to drool and slobber all over thier selves because after they see it they have an unsatifiesable hunger for one, i don't wanna wait i need one now!!!

I had a StarTac as my first phone. I thought it was absolutely the coolest thing in the world. It likened me back to my days watching reruns of Star Trek late at night during high school. I remember thinking, "it's here. The future has arrived."
I had a couple of other Motos since then, but not in many years (like the stainless steel clamshell with the retractable antenna and its successor -- don't remember the model names or numbers).
I also had an iPhone 3G, which was pretty cool, because it was my first 'smart phone'. But after a couple of years, I grew tired of Apple and SJ's maniacal control of my experience, so I switched back to my old SonyEricsson K800i (hell, it has a camera that makes the iPhone look like the underwhelming hunk of crap it is).
But this new Moto, now this is something momentus. It represents the next leap forward, not only for Motorola, but for cell phones in general. It's actually different enought to be the "next great thing." I was planning on buying one when they officially launch (I have never pre-orderd anything in my life), but to win one would make the whole thing -- the phone, the experience, everything -- just that much more substantial. It would signify the attainment of perfection, if only for a moment.

The big vibrant screen, snappy 1 GHz processor and a wicked Droid eye looking into my soul makes this one sexy must own device. Portable multimedia at it's best. Plus it's a smart phone! Sure beats the hell out of my "dumb phone" with features.
Droid X is amazing
Droid X is definitely the most amazing phone with that 4.3 inch screen that i would love to just stare at. I love the Hdmi output and the camera. This phone is just unbelievable.
