Top of the line Droid

The Motorola Droid X is obviously the top notch phone on the market right now for numerous reasons. First off it is running the best mobile OS out there, Android. Second best is under the hood you have one heck of a beastly phone, with a powerful CPU and a stunning GPU. This phone sets the new standard for hardware capabilities. A phone is no good however unless its backed by an amazing service like Verizon. We all hear about the iPhone 4 reception issues with At&t, and with Verizon you just don't have those problems. Lastly the phone's UI makes using the phone a dream. With a more stock android feel, Motorola tweaked it a little to make the experience easy but yet so powerful. I have and continue to wait for the release of this phone, and I assure you I will be waiting in line for this beauty to be revealed.

I'd like to win a Droid X, been following the reviews closely but sadly enough I can't afford to just run out and get one.....priorities come first. The screen size, 1GHz processor, and the 8MP camera are major points of the device. The good thing is if I win this I can give my Droid to a coworker who is having it a little harder than me right now. Thanks.

It's awesome because it's a DROID and ANYTHING with an X in is great...(i.e. - X-men, EXcalibur, SupercalifragilisticeXpialidocious....)

Droid X

the Droid X is the best new phone out today. With it's 4.3" screen, 720p video camera and Arm 1GHz processor, this baby just calls out to be loved. Some might say the size is a little too much, but the thinness and contours make this phone sexy and something I'd love to have in my pocket. I went to San Francisco to try and find the hidden one and I may head to LA to try to find that one. Maybe I've got the "I need the latest technology" bug. I DO usually get myself in trouble with the wife for not waiting for something to mature before I jump. I've been an Android user since Nov. '08 when I picked up a G1. I'm now a firm Droid user and would love to step up to this beast. That way I can give my step-son the Droid 1 to replace his broken LG.

Added feature I REALLY would like to have... a GREAT panoramic camera feature. I would take mass quantities of Pano shots and upload them for all to see and envy. Another great feature... I can hold it in either hand, covering as much of the phone as I want, and still make a phone call... without changing the impedance of the phone's antenna, thus allowing maximum coverage in any situation...

Plus... I really want X. X has always been very very good to me. I've met X and you sir, are no X! (crappy Mondale / Quayle reference.)

The screen size, the processor, the UI looks gorgeous. This is the first droid phone that's really tempted me away from my beloved BlackBerry. The only thing keeping me back is that I'm not eligible for upgrade until next year, and OH NOES! The chance to win one! Part of me really wants to win it, but the 'Berry in my hand is hoping I don;t.

I would love to have the Droid X to replace my Droid because I hate the built in keyboard, and would prefer a larger screen with a larger on-screen keyboard.

The network is the best, and the phone fits perfectly with its 4.3" screen and 1GHz processor. Beats the pants off the iPhone 4.
