I'd love to have a DX since it's got a huge screen and has tons of accessories already. I'm currently on verizon so I wouldnt have to worry about anything there. I'm not much into changing roms, so the locked bootloader isnt an issue for me either. Oh, and my birthday is this week, does that count?

I like it because:
1. It's made by Motorola and I've had good luck with my Droid.
2. It's got the screen size I really need.
3. It's fast.
4. It's got a decent camera.

It bites that Ive got to wait until the 16th for my X to be delivered to me. I dont care if it was 2 weeks or 2 days it all seems the same, id still wait. The reason I like the X being a Android newb and all is because the screen is huge which makes it perfect for movie viewing. The Android Marketplace is wicked and mot of the apps are free. Google is launching appinventor which will let newb like myself create app for the android platform. I like all the memory thats included on this phone 8gb of on board ram and 16gb of expandable ram, plus its expandable to 32gb of ram now thats a lot of ram. Those are just a few of the reasons why The Droid X is the hottest platform out there.

iPhone Killer!

This phone is going to set a new level of performance for all Smartphones on the market, Android or any other OS. The only thing that I am slightly hesitant about is the overall size is a little bigger then most will probably want for a cell phone.

Keep in mind that you can hold this phone anyway you like and you wont drop a call!

The Droid X is the latest and greatest Droid with it's 1Ghz OMAP Processor, the 4.3" screen, the Motorola Skin on Android that streamlines the UI, Swype, it's 8 MP Camera, the triple-microphones to aid in noise canceling. What features of this phone aren't great? Even the Gorilla Glass ensures this phone is one tough cookie.

Because the Droid X is the first phone to meet the standards of beauty amd power that personify my wife - and she's struggling with her crappy Palm Centro. Please for the lady and my life improves exponentially ;-)

I'd love to see how it performs inside my work place. Can it's antenna keep up around all the metals and radio interference? If it can make a clear call/video in an aircraft manufacturing plant, then it's just the phone for me.

With the Moto Droid being a phenomenal phone, Moto can only do better. Sure having the bootloader encypted might not be what some of us are looking for but, there is still a chance for rooting. 1ghz and 720p tops most of the phones out there. Also you can hold your phone however you want without problems (Thank you Iphone for the ammo).
