i'm lovin the fact that it's screen has a 16:9 ratio...full movies will look awesome playing for my kids in the car. at least until i use it's HDMI port to play them on my CarPC's monitor or screens in the headrests.

i'll be auto-refreshing the xda forums for the first sign of root and froyo ROMs to release...$20 a month to tether?? i can do that right now on my ERIS for free...and get faster speeds than my cable connection. crazy.

Every year, a week past 4th of July, my city has it's SailFest and puts on a huge fireworks show. With my (soon to win) Droid X i would flip on the FM Radio and tune in the station that plays music that is synced to that fireworks show!

Swype. Period.

720p video recording...time to sell my big bulky DV tape camera. though i'm not a huge fan of how fuzzy all the images look...even when i'm not looking at the full size of the image.

Gonna LOVE DLNA support...

Droid X is the hottest phone and the reason I want it is because it was created with tender love and care from Chuck Norris beating the **** out of an iPhone.

Why is it great? It's the telephonus-maximus. It has it all. I especially like the TI Cortex-A8 processor and dedicated graphics chip combo. Love the physical buttons. I'm only afraid it will be too big (if it is even possible)

Oh. And my Magic (32A) isn't getting a Froyo update in Europe. Nor did it get Eclair :/

The marketing for the Droid Landing promotion didn't come near me so I had no chance of finding one.

The Droid X looks amazing! The screen is huge and it just seems so quick and snappy. Winning this phone would be AMAZING!!!!!
Also it's Droid X + Verizon = best android phone yet! You can't beat that awesome combination!

Well, were do I start? The massive 4.3 screen is great for media lovers.1 gig proc is a killer but the stand out factor has to b the dedicated gpu, which gives it the stand out speed. Froyo update due out very shortly after release will def make it the fastest device avalible. Blockbuster and nfl streaming media is the icying on the eclair lol. Verizons network gives it the reliability the hardware deserves. Hdmi out is out thier already but when some one combines that and the new apps( unoficially overcourse) will make it a beast.. last but not least it doesnt come with steve jobs installed.. great job moto

I'm Excited

I currently have a Droid, but the X is a major step up. I'm excited about the
720p, the big screen for video viewing and the camera. All are major improvements over the current Droid, and I would love to have one.

Hottest Phone of the Year

What makes the Droid X the hottest phone of the year. Me! I make it the the hottest phone when it's in my hands. =D On the truthfull side it has a very nice and big 4.3 screen 1ghz processor which will be real nice to run some very good games on and the fact of HDMI do I need to say anything else? Droid X will blow any phone on the market away hell they blew Blockbuster away.

First off Phil, of everyone who does hands on review videos, you are far and away my favorite! Now to the reason I NEED the X. I purchased the Droid Eris in November and loved it. It was my introduction to both the smartphone world and the wonderful world of android. I loved it so much so that my wife had swore that she would "Never own such a stupid phone!" (her words) well I kept plugging along and with all the cool things Android can do I won my wife over to the Android community. Shortly after I dropped my Eris and cracked the screen. My wife seeing how saddened I was offered me the use of her newly aquired lg Ally untill I could upgrade to the X. Well last night doing laundry I smacked a bug off my hand while checking my gmail and dropped my wife's phone and cracked her screen!! This has gotten me a permanent place in the dog house to say the least! Please give me this phone so I can sleep in my own bed at some point again!!!!!

Droid X: It is the hottest phone right now b/c I am still rocking a broken vx6900... and the touch screen only partially works and I really want an all touch device but I REALLY DON'T want and iPhone - I love Android. I have been reading About android everyday for over 12 months - and all that knowledge, all that time, and all that energy spent on a platform that I don't even get to use! I DO NOT LIKE WINMO, I DO NOT LIKE iOS4... and I adore Android. Today I started building a sweet looking TO DO List app for android... too bad I cant even try it out on a device of my own! The Droid X is the phone for me. I would use it with daily appreciation! It is the phone I have been waiting for since the launch of the original Droid. I need it b/c it is time! Finally time to own my own Android phone.
