In my house, I'm the one that always gets the latest and greatest.. After getting an early upgrade from my Ghetto Storm 1 to the Droid My poor wife is stuck with still longer then I for her next upgrade. I'd gladly stick with my Droid and give her this bad ass X because she deserves it for always letting me have what I want. Having a phatter phone then I would make her feel all warm and fuzzy and buy me at least a years brownie points.

Bring on this sweet, fast, big screened meanie. Down with the CrapiPhone!

The Droid X would be the perfect early Chrismas gift for me, I havent had any thing special in a very longgggg time. The specs are well known, besides the EVO this is the Andriod phone to have...

I've always been a very loyal BB user but since the launch of the Droid it's had my eye. Waiting and thinking they would release an even much much more power full droid.....Here's the X. Dropping BB and can't wait for Thursday!! Just hope there's still one there by noon when I get off work.

I need one because the Droid X has fished my Crackberry wife from the waters of RIM - and we havent even touched this phone in person yet. In October when my contract is up, or sooner if I win this phone, I will also be a newly born DROID too ( using the Storm two now, using blackberries since 2005 )!!!

It's simple... they took what people loved about the Droid and improved it.
They then took what people hated and either removed it, or refined it.

Basically... it's what the Droid 1.5 should be. A big leap forward based on what everyone found!

I hope to get my chance to own one.

The Moto Droid even from the start was a success, the Motorola Droid X is just branching off what it had to offer from the start and then more... Much more! From it's colors to it's hardware, down to it's software... This has got to be the top notch cellular device hitting the market in the new few days. It's BIG! Sleek, and simple- yet so in depth with what Android does, unbeatable. This phone is certainly no iPhone 4 or any smartphone out there, it's beyond that point, Motorola hit the nail on the head with this one. Quite honestly, to whom this phone ends up with- God-bless ya =)

The Droid X is the phone of the year because this phone combines the best of the best to create an incredible phone. From the processor, to the camera, to the styling, and so much more -- this phone is a sales and marketing dream. It's not often that you get the right product, for the right market at the right time -- and all for the right price. I'm ready to switch from BlackBerry, not willing to give up Verizon for AT&T's iPhone, and ready to enter the future with Android. I'm ready to upgrade - and the Droid X is the only way to go!

It is the right size, shape, and speed. All of my friends have the iPhone (including my wife and coworkers). I'm still on my old Fuze. So I would REALLY like to show off having the hottest hardware out there.

Also, my company is thinking about switching from AT&T to Verizon, and this would give me the chance to prove that our billing software will work just as well on Android as it will on IPS or WinMo.

Lastly, any device that has Lance Henriksen doing it's ad voiceovers, is C'est Chouette Geek!

Are you kidding? 1GHz processor, 4.3" screen, 8MP camera, HD video, speed, and you ask why we'd want a Droid X?

I have tried to order, pre-order this phone but have had no luck whatsoever. Please let me win this beast of a phone!!

I loved my droid until the Incredible came out and then I spent over $500 to get that because I didn't care for a physical keyboard and the extra bulk. My husband has been playing with my dInc and I have him hooked. He has bigger fingers than me so that 4.3" screen would be great and he needs a 8Mp camera and the ability to send me videos when my kids do something eXtreme at home while I am at work~ and Maybe then I won't have to miss my baby's first step.

First, I'd have to say that it's got the speed. And after that I love the fact that it's got a HD screen and outputs, no motoblur, no sense, the internal storage and I love Motorola
