Android Central's Free Droid X giveaway

Honestly, I thought the Moto Droid was Android perfection last year. The Nexus One offered competition, with the trackball, removed keyboard, and further openness, but the Droid's hardware was just so beautiful that I can't say there was ever another Droid phone for me.

Now, the Moto Droid X looks to take the Droid and take it to the next level--the processor is a thing of beauty--Snapdragon is great, but I thought the OMAP in the original Droid was much more powerful than its clock speed led people to believe.

If you can take the Moto Droid, upgrade it, remove the keyboard, and make it compete with the Evo in terms of screen space...and you have the definitive hottest phone of the year. (I'm betting it'll even do well against the 1.2Ghz Android devices from the near future)

Would like please.

The reason i would like the Motorola Droid X is because it runs the awesomeness called PHILBLUR!

I really want the Droid X because I've been playing with a pre-release version for so long, and discovered it kicked the butt of my Nexus One as well as the Fascinate (I'm sorry, that Samsung Galaxy S variant feels pretty cheap in my hand).

Even if I can't win one, I will buy one ... I'm heading down to Verizon on launch day.

Hey...size matters! Pardon me while I whip this (X) out!!! Watch the fruit fanboys suffer with (X) envy.

Droid X

The heart wants what the heart wants! The Droid X tops the technology list in many ways-especially HD video. This will be the "hottest" smartphone of 2010 because of the new screen, camera, HD video, etc. I plan to get this phone, even if I have to break down and buy it. It will blow the doors off the iPhone 4.

Droid X giveaway!!!!

I just want the opportunity to show all the mindless Apple zombies that I work with what a REAL phone looks like!!!! Plus my Eris is getting a little long in tooth, but mostly I would love to stick it to the apple fans with their busted iphone 4's!!!!!!!!

Well of coarse the obvious 4.3" touch screen, 1GHz processor, DLNA support YES!, 8MP camera, 720p HD video....etc ...etc But this will be a phone that will be able to upgradeable its OS for long after its life expectancy in my opinion. That should be good enough. And don't forget about the AWESOME form factor. What else can I say?................ Oh yeah AWESOME PHONE!!

WOW

Now is my chance to shine. I feel sometimes like a cell phone reveiwer. All i really need is a camera and then someone to post it. I could go to youtube but that would be unfair to those guys that try really hard to think of creative new ways to present there device. Then again i wouldn't be getting paid for my services either, so screw the other guy its unfair to me. Lol. I would like to have a free droid x cause i have no funds to buy a new and i would like to be the first in my office to say i have a DROID X. I laugh at you from my pedestal. Muahahaha Muahahaha (as i place my pinky up to my mouth). Oh wait that's been done. Then maybe I will just point and laugh. Thank you for your time.

I think the DX is going to be absolutely killer because of the [allegedly?] better proc/graphics hardware, and the bigger screen over the Droid Inc. Unless Verizon drops the price on the Inc, I don't see how they're going to continue to sell as many Incs once the X hits the scene. I just hope the battery life is more incredible than the Incredible.

Kudos to Motorola for making a Droid I would actually buy!

Because its the only 4.3' android phone that doesnt have a rediculous $10/ "premium data" fee.

The Droid X is the greatest phone in 4 years.... because it has convinced me to replace my 5 year old Samsung i730.

Motorola and Verizon are great at marketing and the consumer experience. A DROID with better specs than the iPhone will catch a lot of peoples attention looking for quality cell service. If only the bootloader was unencrypted....

I think the Droid X is the best because "I can hold it anyway I like", it has Phil-Blur, and I once moved Jerry's Router to the porch when he needed help.
