Do I think it will be the hottest phone of the year? I think it is one of the best phones that is out now. I have an Incredible and Its phenomenal. I don't want this for myself. Instead, I would like to give it to my younger brother who is in college. He has been dying for this thing and is stuck with a BB storm for another year. He isn't the primary line. All I know is that this phone and all droids make Iphone look like a a p.o.s.
It's a beautiful looking phone, but more importantly, it can be used as a laptop replacement for most instances when you might wish you had one on the go do to the phenomenal processing power. I can also use it as a replacement for when I can't get a video camera somewhere I need it for interviews or what not; which goes the same for the camera. The 8 gig on board memory is also a godsend, giving the phone an advantage over most. And og course it has 4.y inch screen that dwarves most other phones. The X makes any I phone look like a childs toy (and a crappy defective one at that!), and it is the greatest phone to inttoduced this year! With everything this phone has going for it, I can't see it being surpassed any time soon as it sets a new standard for all other manufacturers to meet, let alone attempt to beat! All in all, I can't wait to get my hands on one!
No Doubt, the Hottest Phone of the Year
The Droid X is the hottest phone of the year for many reasons. From its customizable widgets to the many useful pre-installed apps it comes with, the Droid X comes with just about everything you need in a phone, and it all fits into what is a very slim, sleek phone. The Droid X is the perfect phone for texting and social networking, which both i am a big fan of, and it is also one of the fastest phones out there with its 1 Ghz processor.
With the X's massive 4.3 inch screen, it is the perfect phone, without a physical keyboard, to text with. It allows for precise typing so you don't accidentally hit the wrong keys. The X also comes with a multitouch keyboard and Swype pre-installed, which allows for really fast typing.
The X is perfect for social networking for sites like facebook, myspace, and twitter. With the widgets it comes with, its great for updating statuses, or commenting on others'.
There are many other reasons as to why the Droid X is the best. Compared to any other phones like the EVO and iphone 4, the X is surely the best. Fm radio, mobile 3G hotspot, and DLNA, this high-tech, yet easy to use, phone has got anything anyone would ask for and more. Which is why the Motorola Droid X is no doubt, the hottest phone of the year.

I still have a flip phone and I've given up waiting for the iPhone to come to Verizon. I think the Droid X is much better anyway. I almost bit on the HTC Incredible but then I heard about the Droid X and how it will blow it out of the water.
This phone is the hottest phone of the year because it's FAST and huge. I want one, but I still have about a year until my contract is up and I'm stuck with the droid eris...Probably won't even get froyo.
i think it will be the best because of the bigger screen, great camera and fast processor. hoping to get when i am ready for upgrade.
Although most of us await the DroidX for the 1Ghz processor and the huge screen size, what I look forward to most is the look of shame that will cover the face of every IPhone fanboy when I flash my new DroidX.
It's got a beautiful, huge screen with correct aspect ratio (16:9); ultra-fast processor and GPU; tons of RAM and app space plus the 16GB SD card; physical buttons(!); and amazing multimedia functionality (camera, media playback through HDMI, etc.); Swype is awesome and so is the Multi-touch keyboard on my Droid so I can imagine what it will be like on that great screen. All in all I'm very excited about this phone and I think that the entire smartphone community is as well. Please pick me...
Because until it arrives, I lack the creativity to construct a witty meta-post about why it will be the hottest phone of the year.

If the fact that it has a big beautiful screen, 1GHz processor, 8 MP camera and an HDMI out dont do it, then it will be VZW's marketing and endless snappy commercials that will make it king. The commercial and ads alone make me want one. Plus if its anything like the first Droid, its gonna be smokin.

Huge Screen. HD Video, and no Sense UI. Its the only phone that would cause me to leave my Incredible!!
