my first post and also new android user...finally moved from apple to samsung and got myself a rogers unlocked samsung note 1 for me to experiment on.
when i check for official firmware there is only 4.1.2 available which i upgraded using kies and download the firmware from sammobile.com.
my question is since the model number is SGH-i717R which is a rogers specific, can i install a samsung note n7000 custom rom on it or i just have to install custom roms meant for SGH-i717R and if yes what are the risks or defects i should be looking for.
