Android loading screen staying forever on NC

so i got honeycomb (finally...kept saying it wouldn't fit) on my SD but the screen that shows "ANDROID_" (android loading i'm assuming?) stays on my screen and won't actually load. it just sits there forever. can anyone help?

I had that happen...you need to hold the up volume for about 5 secs and then release it.
It happened every so often and I found that trick somewhere on these boards.

it seems like I got the nook to power down completely when I had that problem by holding the power button and both of the up and down buttons at once...

i can get it to boot back to stock, but just can't seem to get any further on honeycomb. just sits on that loading screen.

did you try reformatting that SD card and reinstalling HC? you can start your nook in stock then insert the SD card in the nook and format it

if you have an android phone you can use it to reformat the SD card

It was actually the nook home button on the bottom you press..I would press that 2x then hold the up volume if it still stuck.
I had it happen more with Honeycomb that with Froyo off the SD card. I wanted to try rooting so I went that route and have been using the root for the last month. Ready for autonooter 1.2

Having the same problem with the 1.2 update. Don't know if this is causing this or not will keep an eye on any comments. The SD I am using is a PNY 8GB class 4

see...i'm using PNY 4GB and i think class 4. but i tried a sandisk and that doesn't even seem to do anything. i load it up, plug it in, and nook boots on stock.

I set the NC back to factory and it still did not work. I think the new update to 1.2 has made a hard change within NC. I have gone back to the 1.2 and will wait, the experts will figure this out in a few days perhaps. Keep posted.

There is something different between the SD card because my NC only see the pny card and Scandsk doesn't show anything.

This should fix your problem as I mentioned before I was having the same issue. Put your PNY SD card in and boot from the full off position. When the you see the "Android" on your screen and nothing else do this. Hold down the + and - volume keys then depress the "N" button and you should be on your way.

I have the 1.2 nook operating system...pushing the + - and n does not work for me. Ideas?

Pushing Volume Up and Down at the same time when "android" shows worked for me.
