Hello, I have an Epic, was rooted with TER 1.5, but now its back to regular froyo ec05, (actually put on by sprint tech after I bricked the phone trying to flash another ROM but that is another story) so currently it is Sprint official build. I use Doggcatcher all the time for podcasts, and lately its had problems where it can't play. It kicks up a "-17 error android media player" alert and won't play. If I turn the phone off and on again, works just fine. I've noticed the same problem with Panodra too, sometimes won't play and gives error message about android media player.
anyone familiar with this? tried searching the treads but you can imagine searching for 'anrdoid media player' brings back any post about android or media, etc, and nothing seems to jump out at me. Please help. It's driving me nuts! I hate having to turn the phone off and on again every third time I try and play music or a podcast.
