Does anyone know if you can enter your debit pin in at the cc terminal? In the past entering your bank pin did not work.

Yes it works. Put the phone next to the reader. Like using the actual card you get the option for debit or credit. Choose debit, enter pin and you're done.

Same here....just adds an extra step

It's a good step though in case the iris doesn't work. Say you are at an outside at a fair in bright light. The iris reader can be flaky so having the choice ensures you aren't stuck.

For those who use SP at ExxonMobil speed pay do you HAVE to use the ExxonMobil Speedway app to use SP? Seems like if it has a tap and pay reader then regular SP would work, no?

I've been able to use my phone to pay inside at any gas station I've been to. Not sure of Exxon, but no issues at bp, Sheets, Shell, Speedway

For those who are enrolled in the Platinum Experience (which really should be everyone on this board), are you getting all of the points from the promotion?

I received 1,000 points simply by firing up the SP app when I first configured my phone and another 300 points when I added a credit card.

However, I haven't received 300, 400, and 500 points when I made my 1st, 5th, and 10th purchase respectively.

I just tried to add my pre paid access card and credit card information and it is saying I have to call the bank. What do I say to the bank? Kinda confused. Lol the bank is fifth third.

Samsung Pay is very cool for sure. I use it more and more as I find places I did not know took it.

For my bank the number is to an automated system. It will ask you stuff to authenticate your using the card for SP. You just follow the prompts.

I used to when our Sheets has station had a tap pay option but they've since removed that so my phone won't work at the pump. I've not seen any other pumps with the pay option

Yes, I have received all 2500 points plus an additional 200 points for downloading the Shop Samsung app.

I have tried Samsung pay at 5 diff locations and it won't work. I have tried android pay at one of those locations and it did work. What is the problem? Error says bad card read.

You could always get the Amazon CC and use it with SP. I do and that way I get double rewards.

You have to hold it for probably at least 1 to 2 secords, but don't get it ready to scan until the cashier has the sale completed and ready for a card payment. Taking the phone away too soon can cause the bad read. Some cases have been known to case read issues (for me this only happened with my 7 edge).

And depending on the system, you may have to tell the clerk to click "Credit" on their screen first (if not using a debit card).

I usually tell the clerk to prepare it same way as they do for a credit card(only say this if they're unfamiliar with phone payments or you see an error when trying

Just wait until it's ready for payment and hold close to the middle of wear you would swipe your card, I never say anything to the cashier
