Interesting. I hadn't noticed that the home screens weren't moveable. Hopefully, that's just a beta thing that will be changed later on.

Can anybody tell me how about the application WeChat and Line. I need these applications. It's possible to use these application in the beta of Android P? Thanks in advance for answers.

I installed and opened both apps to the login/sign up pages. Hope this helps

While Casting MLB App to my Chromecast Ultra, I would lose the stream at every "Commercial Break" and it would go back to showing my backdrop on the TV. Open the App, recast, and I could watch a half inning and as soon as it went to commercial break, the stream would stop again.

I rebooted the phone AND the Chromecast and it was fixed (wish I had only done one at a time to isolate the problem). If it happens again, I'll do it that way, but since it went to the backdrop and I didn't have a problem with YouTube, YouTubeTV or HBONow, I'm oretty sure it was the MLB App, and may or may not have been P related, though I've never experienced it before and I use it often.

So you're able to watch games on the MLB at bat app? This is one reason why I haven't tried the beta yet. When I did the android O beta the MLB at bat app did not work and I was not able to watch games.

Has anyone been having issues with Google Maps crashing? It opens but as soon as I try to search for an address, it crashes. Thanks all!

Nope, haven't seen anything like that. I use Google Maps several hours a day, and have been the whole time after I opted in to the Android P Beta, and I haven't had any problems.
Note that I am a beta user of that app - currently running version 9.78.0

Yes, without a problem.

And the previous issue I noted hasn't resurfaced.

New app (maybe) with P. i have an app that i do not remember from before. It does not show in my app drawer (saw it in the Apps menu) and it is called Actions Services. It is uninstallable so maybe it is a system app. Does anyone else have it? Did you have it before P? Do you know what it does (the app info is not informative)?

Not seen this on mine

I am debating on doing the beta on my original pixel XL but have heard the Fitbit app is broken on Android P and also curious if anyone uses a Samsung gear watch with the android p beta and if that app is working or not?

I'm using Verizon and I use wifi calling quite a bit. I know that normally the Verizon build alters the wifi calling a bit. Will this beta work ok with Verizon's wifi calling?

I can't speak to Verizon since I'm in Canada, but I've had no problems with wifi calling with the beta.

Not sure. I don't use it due to cellular working well.
