Android.process.media error crash

Hi everyone,

I am actually using an samsung s8+,
Never had an major issue before,.

But its been 4 days i dont know due to what am getting the error of android.process.media like specially suppose i open "snapchat" i can snap myself but when i want to go in the gallert to see my previous pictures that error appear and crashes the app tried everythin install/uninstall snapchat, clear caches few methods i seen online doesn't change anythin its not like i downloaded an app which can occur that,.

Please help its really annoyin.. got no clue..

Ps: Am new here if any other thread been opened abt this before sorry abt it.

Welcome to the forums. Do you use an SD card in your phone? Sometimes this kind of problem is caused by a failing card.

i got no sd card in my samsung s8+

just 2 days ago 2 apps appeard themselves,
which are:

"lookout"
and the other one called "Caller ID" which i opend and it says "the application was unable to athenticate with our server ect..

i really got no idea it specially does it when i try to access snapchat inapp pictures error and crashed back to homescreen,.

not sure if that did affected any other app haven't seen anything else..

what would you suggest please..

Thanks for the registering! That's strange. You could try uninstalling Caller ID, I've read a few threads about this app pushing ads and doing funny things. Go to settings - apps - select Caller ID - force stop - clear defaults (if any) - clear cache and clear data - uninstall.

thanks again,

i did what you suggested me force stop for callerID clear caches/data but cannot see where i can uninstall it as it doesn't appear on playstore and doesnt give the option in settings->app->callerID.

Even keeping my finger on it doesn't give me the option to disable or uninstall it like other apps..
