Android System - Battery issues!

Ok this how you get safe mode:
Turn on and use safe mode

Turn the device off.

Press and hold the Power key.

When 'Samsung' appears on the screen, release the Power key.

Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.

Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
Thought I'd share a quicker (and easier for me to remember in a panic, lol) way to start in Safe Mode.

One of my sons, who doesn't have a Samsung, lol, showed this to me me. When you go to power off the phone, long press the Power Off button and the button will then say Safe Mode. Tap it, and that's it.

How do we change ther version of Android System?

And I dont know if I should be amazed or angered at your battery usage. I think I am both right now. 4 days... WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS!?!?

Haven't touched WiFi since I left the house about 2 hours ago. Let's see how today goes.

For those with high Android System, what is your display set at WQHD or FHD ?

settings
apps
android system webview
3 dots upper right
uninstall updates
if you are having high drain check version
and install another version or keep the uninstalled if there is no battery drain

My Android system webview is disabled. Don't know why.

I dont even have an option for Android System Webview listed.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it, and it is also disabled.

So, the saga continues... haven't been on WiFi since before I left the house this morning. This is where I currently sit.

I'm still leaning towards it being something to do with WiFi in general, at least on my device.

Almost done my work day and 3+h of SoT and Android System is ALOT lower today. And 60% battery left.

I notice if you have Android System problems the percentage climbs during the day. That doesn't make alot of sense to me but it starts off at a couple of percentage points and ends the day near 20% for me, climbing the entire way. Latest thing I tried was to turn off AT&T network diagnostics and next will be a system reset which I haven't done yet. Can't keep the phone the way it is and will need to decide whether to change carriers and/or phones.

Not sure how to feel about todays performance. What do others think? SOT is really low...21% battery gone, but 10 plus hours off charger. Thoughts?

Ok, now I think you're just trolling.

I'm kidding.

LOL...really not trying to troll. I think it has gotten way better for sure. But still not what I experienced the first few days or on the S10. I am still seeing Device Idle and Android system drag a bit. Not complaining though...especially after I had 29% Android System just a few short days ago.

I've got something for people to try to reduce Android System drain.....

Connections/mobile networks/samsung mobile network diagnostics

Turn off.

Seems like my battery usage line has flattened out.
