Angler possibly leaked?

Thx.

As far as I remember, I have never seen a Huawei smartphone priced higher than 649€ wich is the official price of the Huawei P8 Max 64Go (a 6.8" high-end phablet). Other than that, their others high-end are priced under 600€.

I think it's a fairly safe assumption that the hauwei will be much cheaper than the nexus 6 was, correct?

it'll be interesting to see ... still nothing confirmed with camera, battery and processor, and depending on those features, the price can be anywhere from $500-$650 IMO ... I think a lot of it will have to do with how they plan to structure Nexus around Fi. Does Google want as many Nexus phones in as many hands as possible, so they can continue to push Fi? If so, it would make a lot of sense for them to offer a lower price. Or is that project too far down the road for this year's phone(s) to be a consideration. If so, it'll probably be priced relative to its quality. They could also decide to meet somewhere in the middle, who knows.

I do think if we see them cone back to Nexus 4/5 prices, Fi will be a big reason for that. Obviously haven't heard or read that anywhere, but that would certainly make a lot of sense.

Fake and just having fun. Got a little bored and whipped this up, compliments of Photoshop.
😅

Pic is real minus the obvious new nexus 6. Everything else is real. That was the day I picked up my nexus 6.

you should've photo shopped some leather seats in that pic ;-)

good lord, that's thin :/

Indeed, which leads me to believe the battery will be at least the 3,300 mAh battery I heard about; at most 3,500 mAh, which is disheartening. I'm still waiting to see what Total Tech says.

This is what I've been saying all along. I'd bank on 3,300 or less. No way this thing gets 4,000. That's just not "sexy" enough (thin).

Actually there might still be a possibility of squeezing 4000 in there. It's thin but the surface area is fairly broad. I remember my old RAZR maxx came with 3000, it was much smaller than this is proposed here. Not to mention the maxx was still very thin.

3500 mAh is within a workable range for me. I know that's not the case for many users, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it performs in real life to make a decision. We're also waiting to see how it'll play with Marshmallow, so that should help even more.

I think that the Huawei Mate 7S will be a good hint at the battery size of the Huawei Nexus 6.

They are both 5.7" by the same manufacturer and the 7S is rumored to have a 4100mAh battery. If it's the same body size of the rumored N6, we could hope for at leat a 3800mAh.

That's a dangerous game. The Nexus 5 was based off the LG G2 (3000 mah battery) and only packed a 2300mah power cell.

If we go by % that would put the battery at 3,143 mah
Lol, 3143 wouldn't be bad but my post was more to demonstrate that there are inconsistencies between a manufacture's flagship device and its Nexus sibling. I don't think you can use the G2/N5 relationship as a formula to find future Nexus battery size.

The Nexus 5 was effectively based on the LG G2 but was much cheaper and also only a 5" phone where the G2 was 5.2". So a smaller battery was to be expected.
It seems that both the 7S and the N6 2015 will share the same screen size and considering the usual pricing of Huawei's phones, I will be surprised if the N6 2015 is priced significantly lower than the 7S.

The Oppo R7 Plus has what the Galaxy Note 5 lacks | The Verge

The Oppo R7 has the exact specs I would like the Huawei to come out with.

Except a SD820 and 5.7" screen instead of 6

I just watched a video on this phone, and it looks nice. It seems to have a thin profile, but it has that 4,100 mAh battery, which gives me a little hope that Huawei can fit that 4,200 mAh battery I heard about. Giving it some thought, though, the fact that this Nexus has the SD 810 is disappointing. It has me thinking that I might wait for the 2016 Nexus or Moto X, with a SD 820.
