Recently I have noticed a battery status percentage number in white right in the middle of my home screen. It sets near the bottom and in the middle of the screen right between my main icons. It is white text and fairly large but I have no idea how to get rid of it. I didn't make any changes myself, it just showed up one day. Does anyone know how to get rid of it or maybe what app its tied to? I cant find anything in settings that would get rid of it.

I posted info for another post. Sorry. If it's not a widget, then it would have to be part of an app you installed. Unfortunately, I have no idea which one. So many have battery status indicators with them and you just enable or disable them in the settings. I don't think Android Assistant has a battery status indicator, in case you installed that. You may just need to go through your apps settings to find the culprit. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

<edit> What happens when you long press it?

Long pressing does nothing so its not a widget. But I do appreciate you trying to help.

Great idea SM05! Post a picture! Someone in here will probably recognize it...
