annoying history problem

I have google web history turned on but for some reason, sites are still showing up. Example:

I went to newgrounds.com using the stock android browser. I deleted all cache and hisrory from the browser, yet when I go to dolphin browser and start typing "new" in the search bar, newgrounds instantly pops up. I checked my google web history as well as my dolphin history and there is no sign of newgrounds. This even happens when I start typing in "new" in google from a desktop pc when I'm logged into my google acct. What's goib on here? I even deleted all the stuff in the google search cache when u go to settings. I tested this out with other sites and it seems to only happen when typing in an address in android stock browser. Any help would be appreciated. Thx!

Have you reset the browser you're using? Sometimes, cookies are still left behind even though the cache has been cleared.

I did reset, I even did a full wipe of the os and it still showed up on my evo and desktop browser.

It seems to be ONLY sites that I have visited from the stock android browser. Somehow, it is tied to my google history since the site shows up when I start typing on my desktop computer browser. When searching for that site in google history, it does not show up. It is also not in my google bookmarks either. I am thoroughly confused.
