Hi!

I have been searching the forums for the past few days without much help or avail. I recently got a new s7 edge about 3 days ago and the battery life on it seems much worse compared to my old HTC one. I have tried cache wipes, package disabler, and GSam but couldn't get adb to work.

I will attach some screenshots below but I seem to be draining at about %1.3 percent (this was when my phone was idle for about 3 hours) and then when my phone has SOT, drain goes through the roof. I was at about %94 battery at the start of typing this post and I am now at %89. This seems a big quick for draining. Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

Here are some screenshots.

I can tell you from experience my device uses more battery when on WiFi and in stand by then on cellular and stand by.
Also it looks like you barely have cellular service.
If your on a CDMA carrier that is bad on the battery. GSM isnt so hard on it but CDMA in low signal areas is constantly searching for better signal.

I realized that later on. As far as the signal goes, it seems the app stopped recording signal temporarily. I am usually in 1-3 bars range on GSM AT&T.

However, I will take note of that and make sure my cellphone is only running in WiFi when I am at home perhaps. However, I really haven't spent much time away from home either with the S7 Edge. So I am curious to what other things I can do.

Here are some more screenshots of my rapid depletion today. It's been 12 hours and I'm at 24%.

Most recently today, I installed BK Disabler and Uninstalled package disabler pro and stopped the IQservice in the android system. However I am still experiencing poor battery life.

In regards to the last comment, you can also see the updated phone signal graph now as well.

I had some issues with my battery life; I backed up everything and did a factory reset. My battery life is great now.

Alright. I was hoping to try and avoid a factory restore as I performed one after the Nougat update. What is the best way to go about backing up my device unrooted?

How did you get it to show running services and ram usage and cached processes? My battery stats don't show that.

So I went ahead and performed the dreaded Factor Data Reset last night and did a restore with Samsung Switch. While all the settings that I would have like to been kept were cleared (and sadly my BKDisabler lists as well), I was able to spend an hour or so getting everything back to the way I like it. I guess you could say I am fortunate I encountered these issues so early on in the life of the phone rather than later on. Regardless, my battery problems do seem to be fixed, and for sake of completeness and the possibility of it helping others, I will also post my screenshots after a day or two of use after the reset.
@Shinedowngirl87, to get that information to show, you have to enable developer options, and then in developer options, you just click on running services.
