Another update for AOD

Verizon here, looks like the update fixed an issue i had where the AOD was very dim when using a custom image.

Oh honestly I thought that was due to it adjusting to the light. Like the auto brightness does. Looks like i was wrong lol.

Guys report Not only the carrier, but also phone brands in which
the Update was downloaded.

What? This is the Galaxy Note 7 forum. It would be silly to say "For the GN7" in all the thousand of posts. Of course people here are referencing the GN7 .. :-)

T-Mobile. Got the update. Was hoping it changes the battery icon on the AOD back to white but I don't notice any differences.

So long as it is a stock Note 7, I would suspect that the battery icon will never change color back to white. You can stop hoping for it. Certainly not in the first week or 2 after the recall, and the change. The Green icon is an agreement with several governments, meaning it aint gonna change.

I just updated mine. Someone else requested we say what brand our phone is, mine is a Samsung. Thank heavens too, because I would've been quite surprised to get an Always On Display update on a non-Samsung phone. AT&T as my carrier.

I dont think carrier matters as the update is being pushed by Samsung via the Samsung store and not the carriers
Everyone should have the update
I'm on AT&T and got mine

It's unnecessary and overkill on the AOD display. Many people don't even use the AOD display, so I highly doubt it's part of any agreement. I don't expect it to change on the regular status bar at the top of the screen - fine - but if they can separate the battery icon there from the one on the AOD I expect them to do so.

 Thx for valuable details @dsgnori: But as you Know it some users like
the infamous SAM-SGs7 still getting familiar, with the Navigation on

the AC.com: Having said that 100's of users, when Login..Tap
on "Today's posts" Scan posts of interest..at times we don't

Pay much attention on Which forum a particular post it's been
created. Our mistake of course..but thanks for clarify-Bye

Side-Note: Why Google or the Carriers push this AoD
update only for the Note7 and left the other Models
