just bought an LG Opitmus Chic after using the Palm Pre for ten months and i am pretty happy with this "entry level" android device.
I enjoyed using WebOS but the hardware was awful, i'm in Canada and we never received the any of the newer models and had to make due with the original Pre.
The reason i went with the Chic was strictly a cost issue, still have two years in my contract and the low price of the phone made my decision easier, although i have too say it is a great phone for the price.
Right now i am researching apps that i want to put on the phone, reading articles looking at videos, etc.
Glad i made the jump to android, i was using an old BB Pearl for the last two weeks that i had laying around and thought about going to a new one, but i thought better of it and decided a modern OS was the way to go.
