No AV, never have (on my phones). If I'm downloading an app from the internet then it will most likely be from my computer first, in which I can scan with my computer's AV.
I use Norton, and today it suggested that I delete Zedge and Poynt.
I had the same message with Zedge. Is there a problem with Zedge?

I use common sense
Lookout works. it found and alerted me to "Secret SMS Replicator" on my phone when i purposely installed it as a test. if someone would surreptitiously install a spy app like this - i would probably never know about it without a scanner app like Lookout. that's enough for me. and the "Find My Phone" feature is a plus.
Is anti-virus offered for iOS? I'd think if its needed iOS users would need it just as much if not more than Android users.True, I like some of the other features that anti-virus apps bring, as well. I wouldn't use my desktop computer without an anti-virus program. Since a phone is connected to the internet, I get emails with files attached and the Play Store isn't perfect in what apps get through, my "common sense" tells me to use an anti-virus app on my phone.

i use avg and it has flagged some wallpapers with questionable permissions etc. i'll stick with it thanks...i dont feel as confident as you guys about the integrity of all play store apps... avg is free so why not.
AVG is what I use... Like the BEAST, I use my Note for everything... Gotta have my baby protected!!!
