Well I left my Play Book on the shelf for a week or so and came back to use it and it is dead..
I've done all the tricks on the KB articles and zero results. Now am working w/ customer service from RIMM.

That leads up to my question. If a Android tablet sites for a week or two (humor me folks, I get it many think that's a sin lol) will the tablet have trouble booting? Does the OS have any hang ups about not being boot up for a week or a month?

I have a Atrix2 and it's the phone the Torch 9800 should have been and now I'm slowly getting rid of RIMM inventory. But the PB must be functioning so I can sell it at a loss and get a Android tablet. (preferably a 10" unit) I Don't want any RIMM bashing it's just the way its worked out for me and I'm ready to move on.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated I do not want to repeat the same debacle w/ a droid based OS.

Thanks!

I honestly don't use my tablet that much. It does get left on my nightstand frequently. My fiance has already forbid me from taking it with us on our honeymoon (despite my trying to convince her of in-flight entertainment). I've never had an issue with it not booting because of sitting. I've installed bad ROMs on it, and that has caused it not to boot, but I'm back to running stock unrooted and no issues. I have a TF101 and I've had it a little over a year. I have been using it to develop the tablet portion of my app lately and it has taken the backburner to a newer laptop, but for a while, it replaced my Macbook almost entirely (has since been sold, thank god). Battery life (with the dock) is just amazing on these things. I go full weekends and long weekends without worrying about my charger.

Thank you that is pretty much what I was looking for!

I left my PlayBook on the night stand for a week or two and got so bad I had to send it back to RIM....so now it is on the market. Works great and is fast and smooth but am not willing to go through another full OS install and Level-II tech support again.....ha....

Thanks now all I need is a 10" tablet with expandable memory 32gig and uses a micro USB plug like my Atrix2.....woo-hoo.....
