I have never used a bluetooth before. Sometimes when i speak to someone on one, they sound very faint and like they are talking far away from the mic which makes it hard to have a conversation with them. I would like to get one that has very good audio quality and is loud enough for semi noisy environments. Any recommendations?

I use the BlueAnt Q1, got it for about $36.00 before shipping from Amazon. They even have an Android app that will read your text messages through the headset, kinda cool... I've always had good luck with BlueAnt.

That is pretty cool about the text mssg thru the headset. Do you know if you can use the voice dialer to call a number thru the bluetooth?

I've had a Plantronics Voyager 510 for a few years. Rock solid, great sound and extremely comfortable as all of weight goes over the top of your ear. It comes with a variety of "ear buds" so you can tailor the fit a bit.

Works very well with my Epic...but I have noticed a bit of static...but I haven't been able to tell if that's been my environment or my hardware.

Sounds funny, but I'm not sure yet. I got the headset about 3 days before swapping out my EVO for the Epic, and I just haven't had a chance to reinstall the Q1 app. I believe you can though, but don't quote me on that. I should be able to test it out this week.

Sorry...

I love my black Jawbone Icon. It's so tiny & light you forget you have it on and there's no lights blinking on the side of your head. They've also got apps you can download to it which give you different functions like voice to text for instance. Check out their website for all the details.

My old BlueAnt Z9i had a light so bright, when driving at night it would light up the right side of my car! It was pretty annoying.

The light on the Q1 is good, not overly annoying.

Have had Motorolas and blue ant. Both stunk.
Have used plantronics 510,520 And now the pro. Love plantronics and wouldn't think of another company.

I had a Jawbone Prime and now a Jawbone ICON and love them both. Used them both with my Blackberry Tour and now the ICON with the Epic and it works as it should. I know there are a lot of people who can't make a Jawbone work but I use mine often driving down the freeway with windows down and can have a conversation. And both my rigs are louder than your average rig. Just got to make sure the VAS is touching your face and it works awesome.
