Any cases ANYWHERE for the Droid Maxx???

Otterbox website also has the commuter case for sale

I use the Gel Case (Blue) sold by Verizon. I was expecting to use it as a temporary solution because I thought it was going go feel like those old fashion BlackBerry gel skins. The feel is more TPU on this case and I actually like how it covers the power button and volume rocker.

Thanks. I ordered three = 3 cents +$12 shipping/handling. Not too bad. We'll see what shows up. At least it's something until the Otterboxes come out.

Ordered one of these on the 12th and not even a shipping notice. Since it said "in stock" when I ordered, I thought it would come relatively quickly. I emailed Hyperion yesterday and they said they still don't have their stock yet. They said they'd have it by early next week and offered to send expedited.

Using the bumper I bought from Vz (black/grey). Nice, but want a softer touch. I think any Otterbox will be a little too big for my liking and too hard to take on/off if using the car dock.

I have the Griffin Reveal case from Verizon and I like the TPU-like material around the edge of the phone while still being able to view the back of the phone. it feels very comfortable in the hand and seems like it would stand up to a moderate drop. My only complaint is that the plastic back scratches pretty easily.

Just picked up the Otterbox from a corp store, and I bought the bumper case as well to slim things down a bit when needed. The otterbox fits perfect. I had one on my original Razr and the things looks brand new when i take it out of the case

I ultimately cancelled the order because it failed to ship on schedule. I got a note from the supplier that they hadn't received THEIR shipment as yet. Anyway, no loss I think. Now there are better cases out there.

Picked up the bumper case today that Verizon is selling for twenty bucks. Pretty decent. Phone retains its form factor and I didn't want to cover the back, since I like the Kevlar feel.

But going onto Amazon and looking for a case is a study in frustration right now. There are some there, but you have to be a search engine phonetic ninja and even then the hit rate is iffy.

I got the bumper case, too. I find it makes pressing the bottom button a bit difficult. Also, the power button really needs to be mashed.

Agreed. It's not perfect but it's the best of what's available against my requirements right now.

Just picked up the speck case from VZW. I have the bumper as well but this fits better in hand and does not an issue with the Bottom buttons. I have the incipio feather from Amazon coming . I had that one for the Maxx HD and was my daily case. This speck case feels great in hand. It might be my primary.

I got the Carbon Fiber case, it's pretty nice and very minimal; sort of like those slim cases from Ringke and Spigen.

I have the same case and it feels nice in the hand. I do wish they used better quality fake carbon fiber or even real I would have gladly paid more.

I'm on the fence between the bumper or the red carbon fiber. Mine came with the Griffin Reveal to show off the racing stripe, but I want a spare case as well.

Would you recommend the carbon fiber one?

I like the carbon one but I don't like how it makes the buttons very flushed and sort of overlaps the buttons on bit

I agree with you on the buttons but I adjusted to it within a day, it's still a very solid case. Great for someone who wants a minimalist look with a case. Although the back carbon fiber does felt a bit cheap, it's just a sticker and I can do without it. Still, I prefer this over the bumper because I felt the bumper would add more heft to the phone.
