Any Droid owners have automatic watches going crazy?

My automatic watch began gaining an hour every 10 minutes. The service tech told me it was heavily magnetized. He demagnized it for me, and it now works fine. I understand that the Droid dock station uses a magnet to change appearance, and wonder if this could be the source of the magnetic problem. The watch is never near the charger, but does the phone itself emit a magnetic charge? Anyone else having this problem with an automatic watch? Thanks.
