Wow, I'm happy this thread stayed alive. Just wanted to give an update after my first month of usage after my switch.
First I would like to start with the hand full of guys that get decent data speeds in this thread with sprint. I'm very happy that you get great data speeds but come to my city and try to even use 2gig of your UNLIMITED data, good luck with that task. Sprint does have decent coverage around here just using data is like trying to pull teeth. I just hope you guys understand that not all sprint areas get as good of data speeds as you.
OK so after a month of at&t everything seems to be going great, I've actually doubled my data usage of the highest month ever used with sprint. That is because the data speeds are available to be used, so I actually used what I pay for, which is how it should be.
I'm seem to gain close to 1hr of battery use throughout the day. I attribute that to not constantly have low signals or always switching from LTE to 3g.
Lastly is price wise. The reason I was with sprint was for their lower prices. But at&t is now very competitive. I'm actually paying a few dollars less a month per phone with at&t, and can actually take advantage of what I'm paying for.
So all you guys getting great data with sprint, I'm happy for you. But there's dozens more not getting what they pay for and in my case the grass really is greener on the other side.
Thanks for keeping this thread alive and keep up the good discussion
