Any GOOD app to turn on screen without power button?

I've tried at least 6 different apps to turn on the screen without using the power button, even paid apps. NONE of them work with my DRMH to wake them up - not shaking, proximity sensor or tapping. Some WILL turn off the screen, but not one would turn it on. :-\

You might be able to with Tasker but you have to know how to use it. I tried it and didn't know how to use it so I got a refund

So I use tasker and I can accomplish an action when I shake the Sven but this us what I get when I try to tell it to turn on screen, see attached photo. The red and the x mean the phone does not support and I am rooted

Have you tried Gravity Screen? Works very well for me on my Razr MAXX HD.

You can use dynamicnotifications with the proximity sensor turned on. Then a simple wave over the sensor and it will light up the lock screen.

I tried DynamicNotifications with the proximity sensor turned on and it didn't work for me. The screen would often activate in my pocket allowing apps to start and the screen would not always turn off with the phone lying flat on a table, etc. I like DynamicNotifications otherwise and use it with the proximity sensor turned off in conjunction with Gravity Screen. The combination of the two apps works great for me.
