I was playing a game on my phone with it plugged into the wall charger. After an hour, I went back to my home screen and the phone said that my battery was completely depleted, 0%! I unplugged it and it died of course, but how the Hell did my battery die while it was plugged in? ?

If it was a resource intense game, it is very likely that the power consumption was greater than the power intake.
