Some sites are reporting that anyone on any of the leaks will not recieved this and will have to install the RUU..

Hate to have to go that way and wipe this device again (4th time).

I'm in the same boat. However, what I've read makes sense. Since the update on VZW's network would recognize not only the version number, but the radio as well. Since we're on the same radio version as the official OTA, I don't think you'll be able to download the update without doing an RUU.

Personaly, .10 is stable and working fine and from the changelog that was detailed, there really aren't any significant changes from .10 to .12, Those with more knowledge please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm at the point, that after November, I'm probably rooting anyway since the 1 year warranty will be up on the device, but it was definitely nice to have ICS before all the hoopla.

Doubtful. I believe updater scripts look for the official release build numbers and since the leak was "not official".....

Hope I'm wrong though, I don't want to have to have my phone wiped out again and set it all back up.

Yeah....

I updated to the leak about 3 weeks ago... My concern is that Verizon has stated that this phone would go global near the end of Summer. The "global" feature wasn't include in the .10 leak and it appears it is not in the .12 OTA. That being the case means I will have to install the ICS .12 RUU to get back to a spot that in the future, I will get the OTA's.

Would hate to have to wipe this phone AGAIN to just get the update files possibly coming this late Summer.

Good point about updating w/ the RUU to get future OTA's, but the change between the leak and the official is so minor, it may not be worth wiping the phone for it at this time.

By not installing .12 it just means you will have to wipe in the future if we are to ever see additional updates or JB.

I read that you won't get the ota if you flashed a leak. I downloaded it and flashed it this morning rather than keep waiting to see if it's pushed to leakers.

no OTA here in SoCal. downloading it from Android Police (thanks for the link, corki!)

put it on the root of the sd card, shorten the name to just ph98img and go into hboot-->fastboot and reflash

i've done this twice now,it just keeps on going back to the .10 leak i flashed 2 months ago,is there a way to delete the .10 file,or something else im missing.please help

Flashed the 12 RUU last night and all seems good. All I want is the browser to work better than 10's browser did.
