the best buy where I live (fort Smith, ar)called me and said they got some pebble blue ones in today and asked if I would rather have that instead of white... Already been waiting and since I've waited this long it is close to my next bill cycle I'm gonna hold out for white and not have all this prorated crap on the next bill

Guess I got overnight free based upon my pre-order as of 6/6.
I went in another company store still looking for a good case. The rep that is my contact said that they could not sell any cases since the device is not out yet. I got the impression that this /weekend, something will break, say 7/1.
So this is fun. AT&T's system glitched and ordered me (along with 2 other people) Galaxy Notes instead of the S III so we have to take our phones back once they're delivered and reorder the S III. Just when I thought AT&T was doing something right for me. :'(

Placed a preorder at an AT&T store today and just got a shipping confirmation. However it shows USPS when I click on the tracking number. Is that normal?

I finally just went to AT&T and preordered my phone. I'm too busy working to keep calling around all day. At least now I know I'm guaranteed because it's already been paid for.
EDIT: As of typing this my white Galaxy S III has shipped! Will be weird leaving the Apple ecosystem behind but I'm stoked!!!
What time did you order your phone today? Mine was around 4:30pm but called back to get overnight shipping and had to talk with a supervisor and he said it would go out overnight this evening.
My status is pending shipment and has the carrier Fedex listed which is what I chose since they come through my neighborhood like 5hrs before UPS.
ATT just updated my order and it has shipped and will arrive before 1pm tomorrow. I am a happy camper!

My wife just ordered hers today and it's showing in process only an hour after. The clerk said they haven't gotten any shipments in yet do to all the pre orders. It's taking all of the stock. Makes sence to me. The demand is to high.

my phone has shipped! Ordered a white S3 today online at 12:40pm CST. it changed from backordered to processing at 1:40pm CST. Just checked it again and now it has shipped and will be here before 3pm tomorrow!

The location was listed as Memphis Tn. Either way not that far off, and I'm glad to know mine is on the way. I got tired of calling several BB's, and AT&T stores and getting a different answer from each one.
i preordered yest evening at a att store, woke up at 6am to a email saying it shipped and a tracking num... i try checking on usps's web site and it wont bring anything up.. when i ordered from my budddies store they didnt have an option for next day shipping.. hopefully it comes tomm
