Any news on a price drop in the near future.

This phone still costs a small fortune. I really like it but will likely settle for an S3 if a price drop doesn't come soon. Cheapest I see is 279.00 on Amazon.

Depending on the popularity of the phone and when the next new best phone drops. I don't see any soon as this phone is proving to be a great phone. I strongly recommend the extra $50-100 for the note 2. As was pointed out there are places you can save a little, just keep in mind with places like Amazon there is a 180 day contract with them you can't make any changes to your line or there is a etf you will be charged. Pointing this out just in case you were doing what I did and upgrade a line with plans of transferring the phone to a different line

Either way I think it's worth the extra money for the note 2.
