For you Nexus 6P owners out there, are you considering upgrading to a Pixel XL? If so (or not), why?

For me, I've not seen anything compelling enough for me to upgrade my 6P. I like the distinct look to it, still solid architecture, the dual front facing speakers, a camera that still holds its own (needs a better stock camera app though), and it's going to get regular OS and security updates for at least another year.

at this moment I say NO, the Nexus 6P is still a excellent phone and I do not want to pay that much for a new phone. I am hoping for something much more exciting in 2017. maybe it will happen, maybe not, but then I will see what new Google has to offer with its next Pixel line

I recently sold my Nexus 6P and got an iPhone 7+, but the Pixel XL is mildly interesting to me. I'd be curious to try one.

yup, i did. i like that fact that it's a little smaller, easier to hold. camera is better. not that the 6p camera is bad, but i can't stand the speed of it. i am hoping battery life will be better, my 6p battery isn't that great. the way i see it is that, since i am selling my 6p anyway, it really doesn't cost as much. if i sell my 6p next year, it won't sell as much as it would this year so i might as well get the pixel now.

Heck no not at those prices. The 6P is perfect for what I use it for.

I ordered a silver XL with 128GB.

I may or may not keep it; coming from a 6P with front-facing stereo speakers,I am not entirely happy about the "Crisp sound quality with single bottom-firing speaker"

Staying with my 6p, I've owned a 4 & 5, passed on the Moto 6. Nothing here to make me jump, I thought that Google might say something about the length of upgrades, but nothing. If they are going to claim "google" made here, charge a premium price, please give us something way better. It's a start, but I think its worth waiting to see what the market does in 6 - 12 months. I'll pass for now.

If it's promo-priced w/ an upgrade? Maybe. Just got a brand new 6P sent to me today from Google b/c of ongoing mic issues so I'm gonna have a new phone anyway lol

I'm going to hold off for now, since the price is so high. I remember after the nexus 5, the 6 was priced higher than the norm, and I had passed on that. The 6p brought the price down a bit and that's what i'm going for next year. The 6p is a good phone, but the Android 7.0 lags when I use inbox on my 6p. Maybe there's an update soon for that

I would have considered if it was cheaper but I think I'll hold on till next year. My 6P is still running well, though there's no denying that camera upgrade looks really nice.

Don't believe I will... But maybe I'll change my mind if the reviews are super good on them. My 6p is working plenty good enough for me right now. But it is always fun to get a new phone.. ;)

My 6p has been my favorite phone to date but I went ahead and preordered a 128GB Pixel XL. I never seem to use a phone past the 12 month mark. However for what I'm paying for the Pixel, maybe it'll last me a little longer :)

And what exactl does way better look like?

I went for it, mostly to experience the new software and camera. I also like the addition of the swipe gesture on the fingerprint sensor. No real pressing reason, just wanted a new toy.

Same here

About a year and a half ago I brought my family into the Nexus fold buying N5's all around. I upgraded to a N6P last year. Now that the N5's are starting to get long in tooth I decided to upgrade mine and my wife's phones and pass my N6P on to my daughter. I was shocked by the exorbitant price of the 128GB XL so I'm sticking to the 32GB Pixel XL for me and the 32GB Pixel for my wife.

No. Price is not for me. It's that simple. Google can make their profits from someone else. It's crazy to pay $900 for a freaking phone. It's the reason why I have a Nexus for God's sake. Other wise, I'll be using a note or iPhone. Seriously.
