Any of you jumping to the Pixel 4?

I'm so torn here. Now that my S10+ has Android 10, the only thing I'm gaining is a marginally better camera and a "worse" screen.

Your thought?

Camera on Pixel is alot better, at least the main lens is

I tried the 4XL (twice). I quickly went back to the S10+. Other than the camera, there is not much that is better on the 4XL. The 4XL is not a bad device -- there is just very little about it that makes it worth buying over other devices.

I use a Pixel 4XL and am a little disappointed with it over the the Pixel 2XL I had before. I really loved that phone. The face unlock often fails, there are not a lot of apps that use it, especially banking apps. I am now using an S10+ as my second phone (I have 2 SIM cards) but am using it more than the Pixel. Photos are better on the Pixel but the video quality is worse and now I have used it, I love the ultrawide camera.

I would chose the Samsung S10 range over the Pixel every day and I used to hate Samsung phones.

So true. Not sure how anyone could put up with the day to day nuisance of being forced to used face unlock as the only biometric security option.

And don't forget how Samsung software, one UI, ties the whole experience together in a unified and consistent package including all the core apps (phone, email, messaging, browser, etc). Even Google cannot provide this in so called "pure" Android.

Last but not least, the screen! Always taken for granted on Samsung it seems. By far the best in the industry. I'll never forget my Pixel 3 experience...$1000+ phone, burned out after 3 months, multiple replacement devices from Google with screen discoloration issues...it was a nightmare. The camera was great sure, but at what cost? Fast forward to S10+ and not a single issue since. It's going to be a long time until I trust Pixel again, if ever.

I disagree with the Samsung screens being the best in the industry. I think that they can be overrated at times. The Pixel 4 XL screen is fantastic to me and underrated. The iPhone screens are also underrated.

Samsung makes all of those I believe:-$
I thought about pointing this out. I think Apple also source from LG, but not to the extent that they source from Samsung. At least I know they used to, they may not anymore.
