Any regrets getting this phone?

No regrets after my Note 20 Ultra failed. This is a new phone on another line in which I'm using it until my carrier can figure out a way to fix my Note 20 Ultra.

Absolutely would change all of my 3 lines to Pixel if I didn't have my watches from Samsung. Only missing the SPen plus a few other insignificant features of my Note phones.

Happy switch plus my Pixel 6 was actually free. Win win.

Funny, I switched from TMobile to Verizon around the time I got my 6 Pro. What are your regrets about Verizon?

We had switched to TMobile from Verizon a couple years ago because TM had better deals. But after two years of shoddy reception (with VZW we had reception issues once in a blue moon; with TM, a few times a week), technical glitches, and frustrating customer service, we made the switch back.

Actually good to know T-Mobile customer service isn't much better than Verizon as I was considering changing over from Verizon, but not looking forward to the hassles. A more level "playing field" makes it easier to stay put. Hope your experience of returning is a good one :).

We have been with Verizon since Day One (probably around 2005), initially chose them for their expansive Network. Network is still good here in San Francisco, way better than AT&T, from what I have heard, not sure about T-Mobile. One thing for sure is they seem to nickle and dime you to death. They disabled the FM Radio on my LG G4 so I would have to stream any kind of free OTA radio, and charge for any kind of call blocking or Data management. Their Customer Service used to be pretty good, but my last experience was not. Took four calls to figure out a billing issue, and waited on hold WAAAY to long after a convoluted cluster**** Phone Tree to get to a Human. But I guess they are ALL like that now as finding/training/retaining good Customer Service reps must be tough. I just pray they don't increase the outsourcing. My first CS call out of the four was very bad foreign rep, terrible accent or ANY understanding of my issue. AND, I waited 40 minutes for her :(.

No regrets here!
I'm loving my 6 Pro.
Fingerprint sensor is reliable.
Cameras are fabulous.
Call screening is a godsend.
Voice dictation is amazing.
Screen is gorgeous.
Everything is so fast.

So glad you're loving your Pixel 6! Good to see you around the forums! :)

So far I have much regret. Been with Samsung for ever and this is my first pixel. Two things that are aggravating and they are not going away are: Bluetooth and mobile signal(I'm with Verizon). I'm on my phone for business making calls all day and this phone has been a disappointment so far. Bluetooth very unreliable.
Everything else about the phone I love and I'm being very patient for the December update. If this update does not fix these problems going back to Samsung.

I have a Samsung s21 plus and it's been great so far. I've been thinking about buying a pixel 6.any thoughts, I'm I downgrading?

I too had an eye on Pixel 6 but I somewhat didn't like the look of the phone and I love my S21 plus which has everything I needed in a phone

I think I'll take an upgrade for the Pixel 6 as my carrier doesn't yet supply the Pixel 6 Pro . I'm going to sell it while it's sealed in the box. And then purchase a 6 Pro from google. The bonus is, I'll get the free Pixel buds offer for taking the upgrade from my carrier

Well you'd be downgrading in the hardware department... you'd be stepping down to a phone that costs about half of what yours costs if I remember right. And Samsung hardware ain't no joke... good stuff. But if you're not just about specs, the 6 has a very clean, straightforward software experience with lots of cool pixel only features that imo are extremely hard to beat. Pixels are the best real world day to day phones I've ever used.

The software experience imo more than makes up for slightly less specs. I just purchased a Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G on a Black Friday sale, and I haven't set it up yet because I want to keep using my pixel 3XL running Android 12. It's going to be hard for me to retire it to start using the Z Flip 3, because I'm going to miss the overall pixel experience. The ONLY reason I picked up the Flip is because it folds.... and it's going to be several years before Google makes a folding phone close to the quality of the Flip 3. I'm also going to be picking up a pixel 6 or 6 Pro down the road, because I'm a pixel addict lol.

If you haven't used a pixel before, and aren't a spec hound, you should give one a try. If specs are important to you and you like having the top of the food chain flagships, you'd probably be happiest keeping your S21+. Good luck with whatever you choose to go with ;)

That awesome voice recognition typing and call screening/Hold management were big sellers for me on the Pixel, and the camera? TOTALLY! Could never quite get pas the over-saturated look of everything Samsung.

No regrets just adjustments lol coming from a 4XL I miss the face unlock and the round edges take a bit to get use to...other then that amazing phone and I really think they have a chance against the bigger flagship phones,

A couple little annoyances including FPS, but not regretting it at all. It's particularly great to not miss shots of my kids indoors like I used to regularly with my Note.

I buy and sell phones all the time and I love having the latest and greatest phone. I previously had both the pixel 6 and pixel 6 pro and I decided to keep the pixel 6 because in my opinion that offered the best battery life and gave me the stock Android experience that I want and actually it feels a lot better in the hand and feels like a more premium phone than the pixel 6 pro. The pixel 6 pro is a great phone but I feel like the pixel 6 is just better especially for the cost. Prior to this phone I had the s21 and I really enjoyed this phone over the s21 just yesterday I got over 10 hours of battery life on this phone on a single charge that was over 30 plus hours off the charger.

I'm overall happy with the 6 Pro and I came from a Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Things I like about the Galaxy S21U more than the Pixel 6:

- Better screen and much better peak brightness
- Nicer hardware design/feel (feels more solid and frosted glass back was great)
- Reception much more stable
- Much better fingerprint scanner; faster and more accurate
- Camera more flexible/Pro options

Other than those things, I like the Pixel 6 Pro overall a bit more.

My FPS and secure lock both work reliably for me. I wonder what's different in my situation. Can individual product samples vary that much?

I'm amazed at the speed of my Pixel 6 pro working with the forum. It's just as fast as my Microsoft Windows 11 computer. Does anyone else do the forum on their pixel?

No regrets however if I could turn back time, I would have preferred to stay with my Pixel 5A. The features on the 6 are awesome but I've noticed my phone usage has decreased so much I definitely could have stayed happily with my 5A. I also love I didn't have to worry so much about the battery on the 5A. Although the battery on the 6 lasts me over a day I find myself more cautious with my phone usage time, which I suppose isn't a bad thing in itself.

Yes. I have used the mobile forums for years and it's definitely snappy on my P6P.
