I still don't have it for my Nexus 6 on T-Mobile... Has anybody had the update show up yet?

Talked to tech support Friday and no word from them on a timeline, so they recommended I sideload it to get simultaneous voice and data working

It is a curious move.... I mean, the factory image is sitting right there on Google's site. It's not like there will be any changes made in transit.

it may be taking a bit longer to account for the tmobile specific changes. *shrug* Though you have to consider after an update is announced there is a a period of 1 to 2 weeks for the update to usually hit most phones. We aren't two weeks yet.

If it's not available ota yet, Is the T-Mobile update even downloadable yet? Has 5.1 been released at all for T-Mobile Nexus 6? I thought it wasn't carrier dependent? Why is T-Mobile getting El Shafto while sprint and vzw have it? Or am I just talking out of my arse and looking for an excuse to use the phrase El Shafto? :-)

Just picked up my N6 from T-Mobile today. Still on 5.0 with no update available for 5.01, 5.02, or 5.1. Has everyone else been updated to at least 5.02?

I just saw on reddit someone claiming to have received the 5.1 OTA but with the Build ending in M, rather than D or E that the first two we've seen have been. Can't tell if it is BS or photoshopped though. I'll try and post a pic or link to the thread.

This is on the T-Mobile support site for the Nexus 6:
Beginning March 16, the Google Nexus 6 received a mandatory software update to Android version 5.1 / LMY47M available via Over-the-Air (OTA) and pull down over Wi-Fi only. This update will be available over cellular network at a later date and provides improvements:
New features: Device Anti-Theft,
Improvements: Software stability, Various bug fixes

I just read that also from here: Nexus 6 Devices With T-Mobile SIMs To Receive OTA Update To Android 5.1, Build LMY47M

I tried turning on WiFi and checking for updates but it still says I'm up to date. Guess I'll try again later.

I wonder what the difference is in our build.
