any T-Mobile peeps get the 5.1 OTA update yet?

I side loaded D, rolled back to 5.0.1 then side loaded M. Getting band 12 in a free areas around here, pretty cool.

Band 12 is available on all of the 5.1 releases.

That's awesome and I hope you get a great signal at work as well. I'm not techy enough to side load, so i have to wait on the OTA from T-mobile. I hope it comes soon. It sounds like there is a lot to look forward to. Thanks for the update.

I used the WUG updated... It's pretty simple.. Just download the Android SDK files and the file update and follow the instructions... The first time I tried to side load it did take me 3 days to get it to work right (about an hour or so each night before getting frustrated and quitting) but after I FINALLY got it to work and know the mistakes (Which were mostly not READING the prompts fully) it's pretty simple... Once you got it down it's maybe a 30 minute total process.... and most of that is just waiting... Go watch some TV get a cup of coffee come back and it's still uploading..... wait a little more and finally it will reboot.

Yesterday was a lot of the same.... out and about and two places I usually lose LTE band 4 I was getting Band 12... Both inside a building..... At work now and the funny part is I usually struggle with LTE at work but so far I am getting a much stronger LTE signal but it's still band 4 so I am not sure if the updated radios is part of that or not???? Friday of last week before I updated LTE signal in my area with T-Mobile was shoddy all around... so maybe improved radios or they did something locally around here to the towers??? but it's much better/stronger so far....
