Any thoughts on Apex launcher vs Nova?

Sense lags quite a bit compared to apex and nova though. If it had horizontal scrolling and no blinkfeed i wouldn't mind it so much.

I couldn't stand the vertical scroll on sense 5 either. To me Nova prime is the best.

I mean either apex or nova are a win win situation, but I think nova is faster and has zero lag and more customization.

Really? Honestly I haven't noticed any lag at all on my One. Guess I'll try out a Launcher to see how much difference there is

I use Nova. I only wish I could also have a Blinkfeed home screen with Nova.

Well if you have never used nova would probably be the reason the sense lag isn't that noticeable. There is a setting in nova to set the speed to faster than light that makes the transitions super smooth.

Used to use Nova but it was always the top battery eater on my ONE so I've gone back to stock. It is a GREAT launcher otherwise.

Nova Prime.

Quick, customizable, has what I want, gives me what I need. :)

I use Apex pro. It's by far the best from my experience, on both the One and my Asus TF700 tablet. No lag, great battery, notifications, 9 screens, even HTC Sense5 and Blinkfeed work on the One if I want them. I could never be happy being stuck with a stock launcher again.

I have played around with Nova Launcher, enough to actually say I would consider using it on my recently converted GPe (from a standard DE H1). I would even pay for the Pro version.

The pay version is definitely worth it. Lots more customizations.

I have both apex and nova. I used to use apex on my phone and nova on my nexus 7. They seem similar to me though

I've been using Nova Launcher (lite). I'm not much of a power user; I just like a launcher that I can use in landscape mode. Eventually I'll upgrade to Prime (once I get my $25 Google Play card).

I am fairly new to Android so I definitely don't have all that much experience - but so far I have been using Go Launcher.
I had Apex for a while and really liked it, one thing that Go Launcher has is writing gestures. I set it up to where if I double tap on the screen a box will pop up allowing me to draw a symbol which I have set to do an action. Similar to the Note 2's S-Pen commands.

Do any of the other launchers offer this? That is the only thing I really don't want to give up. I hate the bloatware they shoved on my phone though - and the ads in my notification center. I may just go ahead and pay the fee to get it ad-less if Nova and Apex don't offer a similar writing gesture command thing.
