Any Verizon Lollipop battery drains?

My battery is not improving a whole lot. I will give it a bit more time, though I might just do a factory reset after dinner this evening while watching Jersey Boys. But the rest of my phone is running great. Not a hiccup. I like Lollipop!

Mine is definitely draining faster than normal. Have done a factory reset and didn't help. Says the android system is causing most of the battery drain.

Right now I am at 76% and says I only have 17 hours left in standby.

76 percent in how much time?

I had no choice. I did the update and my Note 4 just kept rebooting continuously. But battery life is even better than before, which was awesome then.

Did my factory reset today and the battery is much better. Loving Lollipop!

I finally did factory reset after trying the cache wiping. Battery drain still hi, but after letting it drain...turn off...and doing a non fast charge, battery life is better...not sure it is back to what it was...but better. Really should not have to do a factory reset in this day and age....but...I did...pita, as I have numerous apps that are for VPN token usage and had to get new installs and new registrations....

Did a factory reset and finally got everything back to where I had it. Except I had some pics in private mode that I forgot to move before I did it. Lost them all.

My battery is still draining pretty fast. It is draining twice as fast as usual. I have been averaging 15 percent an hour burn since the update. On a normal fairly heavy use day, I burn about 7 percent an hour, 3 percent light use and 1 percent or less on standby. I have not really put the phone down, so I need to test standby as well.

It's only been a day so I plan to keep swapping out batteries for another couple of days if needed. If the situation does't change, I will be doing the factory reset. Everything else is working wonderfully!

Maybe the app you are using to test the battery drain is draining the battery?

Since I have updated to Lollipop on my WIND Mobile device it's been ok. No improvement or loss.

The only thing I have don't is wipe the cache partition off the phone.

I did a reset after. Mine was running hot and drained quickly. On my reset I only lost my keyboard and wallpaper.

I have SuperBox Pro app. Love it. Have had it for years. Got it free on amazon

I noticed today my battery is draining fast. Before lollipop I could go all day from 6 am until 11 or 12 at night without worrying... today I have charged twice and it is on 21% left now. I just wiped the Cache and will see if that works tomorrow after I charge tonight. If not, I guess I will do the dreaded factory reset.

I did a factory reset right after the upgrade to Lollipop on Friday. I charged overnight and unplugged about 7:45 am Saturday morning. Went to bed Sunday night with 35% battery left so I plugged in at that time. A whole weekend without charging was great. I'd say the update has made my battery a lot better.

Well so far my battery is slightly worse with the update. Even after the factory reset but really hard to tell without letting it settle in for a cpl days. No way to really gauge it right after updating and resetting

My battery is definitely better than it was before. I can tell just by everyday use so far.

This is just an opinion based on my time since update. I think what we're all not realizing is, because it's an all new operating system, we are ALL playing with the phones more than we normally do. It's the desire to try out the new features, check all of our apps to see if they still work, post more on the forums (like we are right now). If we all let the Lollipop NEWNESS wear off, I bet we'll ALL have a better awareness of ACTUAL battery life. Just sayin'! ;)

Was at 100% charge at 6am EST, I am down to 75% battery at 1:02PM est. Not bad for a device that I have had since it came out. I am sure if I put a brand new battery in it would be better.

Not the case with me. It's been how many days and my battery is still noticeably worse than it was with kitkat. Using the phone the same I always did.
