Get my NE2 moved 3 weeks or at least honored? I have been to 3 stores, called customer service 3 times and no one will honor or move my ne2 just 3 weeks to give me the additional $50 discount as well as the option for a 1yr contract. I get corporate discount as well, so this would make my 1 yr contract like $230.

But alas, I read all the stories of very helpful Verizon reps who are very accommodating, yet I can not find one...lol

*sigh*...

Any takers on helping out? I am always super nice on the phones and in store...
 
Might not be such a bad thing as the Samsung Stealth will supposedly be out on 4/7 and will be branded as a Droid phone. Might want to wait until then.
 
From what I've heard from several Verizon reps and managers now in last few days since the phone has been out, they've gone out of their way to stop letting people do it early. I actually talked to a manager at one store, and he said even customer care isn't doing it now.. they've really cracked down on it.
 
You won't get the NE2 discount if you sign a 1 yr contract. You'll still get your corp discount if you have one but that's it.
 
gotcha... Well I appreciate the info fellas, and need to check out the samsung phone, haven't heard or read anything about it.

So the $50 ne2 is only for 2yr contracts? huh... thought I was because I waited my full 2 yrs before I upgraded.
 
I would never get a samsung phone again! Software problems and they never send out updates! I had a facinate which was the flagship galaxy s line and to this day it was still on 2.1 software. Phone was laggy as is the 4g galaxy s2 on t-mobile.

yup. You only get the extra discount if you give Verizon your soul for another 2 years and now they even did away with the benefit of annual upgrades primary lines on family plans and 900min+ single line plans.

yeah, I love the screen on the Fascinate but I wouldn't buy another Samsung unless it was an LTE Nexus S with a true google experience. I never had any lag with mine but the waiting for Froyo (still don't have it officially) and Touchwiz being deeply integrated and making it a pain for the developers soured the whole experience.
