Does anybody know of a way to backup and restore the custom ringtones that are assigned to contacts after doing a data wipe? This single issue is my biggest frustration with wiping your data for a new ROM install. It takes too long to go back through re-assigning the ringtones you had.

I've been able to do Data only Advanced Restores following loading new roms to restore all settings and apps.

Mine have always been there. I always thought they were save with ur GMail acct.. I've never had to redo them...

Where is this Data only Advanced Restores you speak of? Is that coming out of Titanium or reboot recovery from a nandroid backup?

When you set up a new phone (like after a data wipe) there is a check box about backing up your stuff to Google (says something about Wireless loggins and some other junk). I always uncheck that box. Do you leave it checked? Could that be how your ringtones get restored?
