Just like the title says, I'm trying to bypass the activation screen. I have a One that has not been activated. I'm trying to test it on Wi-Fi to make sure everything functions to possibly resell it. But I can't get passed the activation screen. Is there any way to do that? I don't have a spare SIM laying around to test.

Thanks.

I don't think you need a SIM, but you can't bypass the activation screen. When it asks to enter a GMail account, you should be able to say later or skip.

On my old HTC Incredible I would just start the activation call and end it right away about 2-4 times until it skipped activation and that was it. Not sure if that works still.

On stock android and aosp, all you have to do is touch the four corners of your screen In a clockwise order starting from top left. However, the manufacturers might have changed it or gotten rid of it altogether, so if you have a skinned version of android it may not work.

This may not work, but on the Rezound, at work we went to the emergency dialer and dialed (INFO):

*#*#4636#*#* and then hit Home to bypass it... not sure if it'll still work now, but worth a shot =\

From the activation screen where u select language there is a box where it says something about user agreement. Touch top right, top left, bottom right bottome left than volune up. It should then take u to an activation bypass screen. I'll post pics later if y'all want. I'm gonna do it to my coworkers phone in a few minutes.
