Any way to cut/copy/paste an appointment?

I cant believe there is no way to cut/copy/paste a full appointment on the calendar screen. No, Im not talking about recurring appointments, Im talking about copying all the information in an appointment and pasting it to another day.

I was hoping froyo would fix this, but I havent heard anything yet. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Even better, are there any third party calendar programs that would allow this?

I don't know if anybody new has tried this but if you tap and hold on a word this cool cut copy paste option comes up. It works great.
