I like to set up DND on all my phones and I can't find a way to disable the LED during this time. That blue LED is crazy annoying at night in a dark room. It's my first Samsung phone, so I'm a little lost.

I use tasker and setup a profile and it works for me. I have it set to activate between certain times and only when it's charging uploadfromtaptalk1457791710065.jpg

Maybe when I get a case for it, but then that kind of defeats the purpose of having the clock showing for me.
Its very dim and not distracting, but the blue LED...ouch.

I know HUH!! I was so happy about the always on display thingie, used it last night (with the DND on) and the blasted blue light was on all night. Back to "My Alarm Clock" app. I googled this when I first got my Note 5, coming from iPhone/bb and it's been a complaint for a while.

So that's my ONE complaint for this phone LOL...minor....

If you want the phone to display a clock at night, but want DND otherwise, can't you just place the phone on it's face as previously noted and turn on Edge clock display? I haven't messed with the Edge stuff that much, but remember seeing the clock display available.

Tried putting face down last night, but the LED is still so bright it lights the room up. I have turned off the LED notification until find a way of switching off at night

This is horrible, using third party apps just to disable this while on DND is bad lol. These other apps have a million other options and LED colors that i'm just not interested in. Tasker seems to be a paid for app but im not that eager to get rid of the LED. Hopefully something oem comes along to allow this exception.

Edit- I even tried to create a setting(activity) shortcut using Nova launcer to have a toggle for the LED indicator around the home screen but no luck.

I'm having this same problem. I just upgraded from the S5 and the LED was completely disabled during DND on that phone. This missing feature is disappointing to say the least.
