Any way to fix blurry contact pics after ICS update?

There are apps available, such as HD Contact Photo that might help you out .. check it out on Google Play!

The best app I've found is HaxSync. If most of your contacts are on Facebook, the profile pics come out very nice on the phone. Granted, it requires Facebook integration. Just another option...

There are ways to help involving other apps but nothing really worth bothering with, to answer your original question using the existing contacts “NO”. It’s going to remain horrible at least till the next update.

I agree. Think we're gonna have to wait for an update. Tried one of the big caller Id apps and that darn thing had its own set of issues. Guess we have to deal for a while.

One way I've found to fix them is to try to zoom out farther on the pic then normal. They look pretty good on my phone doing that

They say the limitation is actually with google contacts, if you create a new contact you have the option of making a google contact or phone contact, if you choose phone your images will be better but i don't think they'll sync with your google contacts. Though I'm sure there's an app for that. You would think that would be a priority on googles checklist but we know how that goes.

I have been using haxsync, which provides crystal clear Facebook photos... However, if you just want the photos clearer on the individual contacts page, turn your phone sideways, and now you will have a normal, square contact photo! Why this was setup like this is completely beyond me...

Google supposedly fixed this in Jelly Bean. You might try one of the JB Alphas floating around for our phone.
