Any way to skip SWIPE when selecting lock screen notification?

I have the Verizon version.
I have fingerprint and pin set, and a smartwatch with Smart Lock assigned.
When I double click a lockscreen notification, I have to swipe to see it.
Any way to get rid of this step?

I searched with no joy, so I'm not very hopeful, but what say you?

You haven't stated which device you have so I'm guessing it's a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 seeing you've posted there.

I have a S9+ and a long press on the home button gets me from lockscreen to unlocked screen without the swipe, is that what you're asking?

I have AOD and a double tap on the notification doesn't need a swipe if that's what you asking.

I have facial recognition set up so when I double tap a notification, as long as I'm looking at the screen, it opens right to the app. No swipe needed. I also use fingerprint, pin and have my watch set up like you do, but it's the facial recognition that allows me to skip the swiping.

Yes, that's what I'm asking and yes, I have a Note 9.
I have long press home to open set to on, but it brings me to the swipe to open lock screen.
Do you have any screen lock set?

I don't have facial recognition setup on my S9+ and a double tap from AOD gets me to the app. I don't know if the facial recognition has anything to do with the double tap, seeing it would be pretty difficult to tap on the onscreen notification if you weren't looking at it.

If you mean do I have to use figureprint or pin, yes I do, but only when the device has been asleep for a while.

Ok. Whatever gets it done. I shared my experience. You share yours. Hopefully it all adds up to something helpful.
