Any way to take screenshots without rooting?

I'm running my Droid X with 2.3 (no root), and tried this method to take screenshots: http://www.androidcentral.com/taking-screenshots-without-root

However, my phone doesn't show up when I open up DDMS. My drivers are up to date, and I downloaded the USB Driver package for the Android SDK. Is there something I'm missing?

Just grab no root screenshot it from the market.

This is the paid version, Trial version is free. Ive heard many people had ease of use with it.

Yup it works. I actually downloaded the free version and it is giving me unlimited screen shots. Not just the five it says. I have taken like thirty total so far. Idk why this happened lol

Well the free trial version is to see if it will work on a non rooted phone. If it does not then you would need to get the paid version, specifically for non rooted phones. Unfortunately.

I asked this question when I first got my Droid X Last year. Droid X con was really helpful in getting me able to get screenshots of my X so I could post on the forum. Read the whole thread as there are some things at the end that he figured out that helped finally get it. Hope this helps.

Holy crap, it works now (with the SDK). Basically replicated that last step DroidXcon suggested, and now it shows up. Thanks all of you!
